Hi All, my girlfriend has a confirmed cholaprship from 1 september until 31 december, in Rovaniemi. She will research into climate changes in Lappland. Traveling there from Budapest seems to be arranged. But there is one big question left, where can she stay for four months? If you have any recommendations, informations on this, please let us know. Hostel, dormitorium, flat for rent, etc. Thanks in advance for any information, Csaba from Budapest
True. The university has accomodation...but you really should tell them about your need as soon as possible! :)

Hi, I'm in basically the same situation as your girlfriend. I am from Germany and will be doing an exchange semester next fall (from September to December) at the University of Lappland. They have offered me a room, but I did not want to share the bedroom with another guy so I declined the offer. Has your girlfriend found something? If not, maybe we can team up. And if she did, maybe you can give me a hint on where to look. Anybody else who has good advice is very welcome as well! Cheers, Richard

Hi. In case the university can not help you, Hostel Rudolf in the center of Rovaniemi offers cheap accommodation for students as well. You can see more info at www.rudolf.fi
