Holiday Park for large Family Reunion

Hi can anyone recommend a holiday park for a family reunion/70th birthday, 40-50 people. Self catering. Also needs to have a small hall or any kind of room with kitchen where we can all meet and share our time together. Early August. Thanks Jenny

The Blue Lake Top 10 Holiday Park has all kinds of self-contained units and motels - but it is a 10 min drive from the centre. http://www.bluelaketop10.co.nz/ Another lakeside park would be Cedar Wood (6 km from town centre). They even have conference facilities ;-) www.cedarwood.co.nz More Top 10 parks are: www.holdensbay.co.nz www.rotoruatop10.co.nz Other holiday parks: www.willowhaven.co.nz www.allseasonsrotorua.co.nz www.cosycottage.co.nz www.redwoodparkrotorua.co.nz Apart from all these holiday parks which have motel units, cabins and tourist flats with cooking facilities, there is an endless choice of motels and motor lodges with cooking facilities - but probably not with a lounge where you could accommodate 40 to 40 people. As August is a chilly month even in Rotorua, you really need an indoor facility.
