I am thinking of coming to barcelona next year around May for around two weeks. I am interested in staying in the example area. Is that a good area for two young adults? Is it better to choose an apartment rather than a hotel? And what is cheaper. Something close to transport to get around. And because I wouldn't know my way around is it better to have day trips with groups instead of going by yourself?
Also what areas should i avoid cause I've heard about theft problems.
Hello! We are going on a bike trip in august and we wanted to take a ferry from Cadaques to Rosas. however, i can't find any information on the internet.. Is there a website with the prices and the timetable of the ferrys? Also, do you think it is possible to transport our bike by ferry and what would it cost?
I'm a single guy and get to go to Barcelona for a trip on the company dime in August. I can extend my trip 5 days and having never been to Europe I'd like to jump to another fun spot. I like beaches and a good party spot but I'm not really into the Euro techno scene. I thought Lagos might be a fun spot to go, but it's kind of a pain to get to from Barcelona. Any ideas out there of a fun place for a single guy to spend five days and relatively easy to get to from Barcelona?
Hey everyone! I’m a foodie from India/USA who will be visiting Barcelona for three days in July. I’ll be there Friday-Monday. I’m looking to map out the days, and food is one of the things that I’m most looking forward to planning around. I’d ideally like to get a good representation of the cuisine in the area. My only requirement is reasonably priced food. I can't afford expensive meals since I am travelling on a budget. Moreover, I prefer street food type eats to gourmet meals. Thanks in advance, and looking forward to your suggestions.
Hi there everyone! I am traveling to salou in early August for the week with my 2 kids aged 12 and 13! As its my first time I salou just wondering if it is safe enough ? Is there places we should avoid and are there things for my 2 kids to do? I've already booked the theme park and aqua park tickets but just wondering if there were anything else to do for them! Thanks in advance
Hi, I am coming to Barcelona probably around May or June next year, for around 10-12 days or so and was wondering where in the city would be best to stay. Is the eixample area good? I obviously won't know my way around so is that a good central area near transport and sites and what not? Or any other places? Also what type of accommodation would be best for that time frame? Apartment?
This is for two young adults so nothing really expensive.
I have travelled on the A2 and noticed the interesting and beautiful limestone scenery around junction 526 between Igualada and Tarrega. There are numerous raised terraced areas on which appear to be growing barley and (in May) poppies. I would like to make a point of spending some time here to explore and take photos next time. It looks like a great area for a painting holiday too. Does this area have a name and can anyone recommend a good rural place to stop for a couple of nights? Many thanks for your help.
I am planning a 10 days road trip in the area between Barcelona, Valencia and Zaragoza. I am interested in history, architecture, scenery, nice beaches. Since we will travel by car I would like to take the opportunity to see places that are somewhat outside the beaten track.
Are there anyone out there who has any advices or suggestions of where to go and to stay?
