Like all such city cards, the value depends entirely on how much you intedn to use the free or discounted entrances offered. I have never used any city card. You can find similar offers with e.g. the Roma Pass: http://www.romapass.it/?l=en 85 euro is a lot of money. You need to check whether you will actually save anything by buying this card. You can 'skip the lines' by booking individual sites online. Here are the official sites: Vatican Museums: mv.vatican.va/3_EN/pages/MV_... Galleria Borghese (reservation essential): ticketeria.it/ticketeria/bor... Forum, Colosseum, Palatine (put 'colosseo' into the searchbox): pierreci.it/home-page/en/mus... Other places are simply not going to have long queues to enter (I've just returned from Rome, by the way)...and you *cannot* skip the potentially-long security line to enter St Peter's Basilica anyway. The Roma Cristiana bus, of course, is available for anyone: rometoolkit.com/whattodo/rom... The only 'extra' I can see is the Vatican Gardens tour...but you can book that yourself directly: mv.vatican.va/3_EN/pages/z-I... I would hope that you will have appropriate medical insurance for your trip. I really don't think that aspect of the Omnia card is relevant. So..it's entirely up to you to decide whether this card is worthwhile. It may be that the roma Pass is a better option, or simply buying tickets online for a few sites and then paying as you go. Only you can decide that based on your own interests and plans. By the way, a 3-day ticket which covers all bus, tram and Metro within the city will cost you 16.50 euro. 1-day tickets cost 6 euro. You can get these tickets from any Metro ticket machine (English language options) as well as from various tabbachi (tobacconists) http://www.atac.roma.it/index.asp?p=14

Hi! Im not sure what the Omnia Vatican ticket encompasses, but from the name it sounds comprehensive. I will be wary to make use of it; we found the Vaticam very tiresome especially the museum. It might be that you wont be making use of all the advantages of the ticket. For the Vatican, I'll rather suggest to buy tickets for the seperate things you want to see. As for the Rome card: We used the Roma pass, which was fantastic. You can buy it at the train stations at the information desk. Enjoy Rome!
