Hotel Help

by karimi1 Online Now Jul 9, 2004 at 9:08 AM

I will be travelling to Rome in First week of October with my wife and 2 yr old. I would appreciate if any can recommend a reasonable 2 or 3 star hotel at a nice location in Rome for under 100Euro. Thank You

Hello! Venere.com is a good site to shop for hotels. Also, it does have a review of the hotels file. So, you can get an idae. Center of the city is usually more expensive and always noisy, but you can't bit the location! Try to find something around the Termini - central trains station. From there it's not too far to anywhere, except Vatican. But, again, there are number of buses departing from the Central station. Beware of picket-pocketers, there are many of them. Man, woman or a child holding something over the nad is an automatic subject for suspision! Don;t underestimate some "No star" hotels. They claim that not to pay taxes, but some of them are actually nice, clean and cheap! Ilya
