I am traveling to Rome in September, and would like to know what to pack! Is there a dress code for the museums, and what is the general climate for that time of year? Anyone have any idea what the general cost is for some of the museums and historical sites in Rome? Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for my first experience in Rome.
Hi! In September, Rome is definitely not as scorching hot as in June, July, and August......You can wear shorts during the daytime.....at night time it's recommendable you wear long slack and a light jacket ocassionally. If you're going to visit museums and especially churches, you must cover your shoulders and knees. They will not allow you in if you expose them. It's pretty cheap to get into places.....sometimes free. Most of the churches are free. Museums cost from 5-10.....even less.... You'll have no problems! Have a great time!!!
