Shopping in Bucharest

Hi there, I plan to visit Romania in August to go on a hiking tour. I have booked my own flights, but have not yet booked to put a bag in the hold. I have bought a pair of walking poles, and I only yesterday realised they would not be allowed in my cabin baggage. I bought the pair of poles cheaply, at gooutdoors.co.uk/walking-pol... But I was just wondering if anyone might know if buying this one piece of equipment will be cheaper in Bucharest? I don't want to have to pay a checked bag fee if I can get a pair of walking poles for under £15 in Bucharest. What do people think? Nick
