From Bochum by train, you have two alternatives to Roermond: 1. Stops in: Duisburg, Viersen, and Venlo. 2. Stops in: Düsseldorf and Venlo.

I looked at travelling by train to Münchengladbach and continue the journey by bus. Not really attracting (includes a 1 mile cross border walk). PJ
