Is there any long term parking near the Amtrak station? We would need to leave our car for 10 days while we travel by train.

If you are asking about the Amtrak Station in Rochester, NY then there is free parking in an unguarded, unfenced lot adjacent to the station. We have parked there over the weekend without any problems but the area around the station is not the best of neighborhoods and since the lot is not guarded, you may be risking damages. It might be better to just take a taxi from the hotel/motel ($35 trip) and leave the car in a safe place.
