I will be in Rio de Janero - Ipanema for 3nights - wanted to have some suggestions of fun safe places to go to for some night life
Alot will depend on what days of the week you will be in Rio, as some places are better than others.

In Ipanema I like Emporio. Lapa is good basically any time but is kind of slow on Mondays and Tuesdays. www.ipanema.com has a list of places and their neighborhoods
