FOLKS: we are vacationing in Rincon from March 11 to March 18 and most of the condos we have been looking at at have air-conditioning in the bedrooms only. I know this is a very subjective question -- but will it be hot inside a condo without air-conditioning throughout? Thanks, Steve
Has anyone here snorkeled in the Rincon area? We'll be staying there for a few days and wanted to do some snorkeling. Is it worth doing a snorkel tour to Desecho island? Or if you have recommendations for good snorkeling in the rincon area, it would be appreciated
Hi, My friend is getting married in Rincon this summer. The reception will be a self catered bbq on the beach. The problem is that we'll still need some chairs, tables, ice tubs, etc. Can anyone supply the name and number of a party rental place? thanks!
I am getting away from the cold of New York and going to PR for a long weekend and would like to spend the day in Rincon. Anyone have any ideas how long it takes to get there. I will be renting a car and enjoy driving. Thanks for your feedback. :-)

I'm flying into San Juan in 2 weeks, and I want to stay there but I can't find anything very cheap (hostel prices...$20-$30/night). If anyone knows of anything please lemme knowm, I've been searching and I'm a college student with a tight budget. I see that Rincon is cheap for lodging and there's a lot of surfing around there. Anyone know of a cheap way to get to Rincon from San Juan? I don't mind camping either place either, if you know of campsites or places to set up. I'd really appreciate any advice, thanks! Dup
Hello Everybody My name is Kimish. I am 24yrs guy studying at University of Southern California los angeles. I am travelling to Puerto Rico from 29th of dec to 5th Jan. At this moment I am desperately looking for accommodation. I know there are plenty of them available but since I am travelling alone and I am looking for cheap place to sleep I could not find one. I have travelled around europe where they have lot of youth hostels which are cheap and lot fun to be at. But I could not find anything like that for Puerto Rico not atleast online. I know this message is getting quite long but I appreciate if you read it. So back to the topic, if anyone has any idea about cheap place to sleep, I just need a place to crash. I dont want to spend more than40. I can carry my sleeping bag with me so if anyone has any idea about camping or stuff please let me know. Well this is kind weird but I am in desperate situation so if anyone can host me at their place ( I am willing to pay) then that will be great as well. Infact in that way I can get chance to meet local people and know about culture as well. I am pretty easy going. In anycase if anyone around san juan or ponce is there and would like to give me company to hang out with and show around that will be great as well. Hoping for numerous responses. Thanks Kimish
I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian (the only animal products my diet includes are eggs and dairy products) and curious about what types of vegetarian cusine PR offers. Will it be hard to order a vegetarian dish in PR? As far as bean dishes go, are they prepared with pork, chicken broths, or other meats? Many thanks for any information you -- or dinning tips -- you may provide.
Hello, What is the best time of year to snorkel or scuba dive in Rincon, PR? Would you happen to know what an out-of-town novice should expect to pay for a scuba diving session in Rincon? Thank you for any information you may offer.
