Does anybody have recommendations for dog sledding or snow-mobiling in Iceland? I'm looking for day trips from Reykjavík. Thanks!
Plenty of dog sledding to be had in Iceland, and it is available year around. Handy to have glaciers..... With some luck you might be able to see the Northern Lights as well. It is futile to try to describe them. You must simply see them to understand..... Here is a look: images.google.com/images?hl=... Good point -- Air Iceland has a code-share agreement with Atlantic Airways, which would allow you to fly from anywhere... more
