Does anyone know where or if our no impedement of mariage papers from uk need to be translated if we marry in turkey. We plan to travel to Gumbet in late june. And have been told to go to the british consulate in Izmir for our papers to get translated? Having just received an e-mail from someone who lives out there, said that if we go to the turkish consulate we dont pay? We are planning our arrangements by ourselves and would greatly appreciate any help or information anyone has. Many thanks Tracy & Mark

Hi, Has anyone been to Gumbet in October. I am going for a week on the 16th and was wondering whether the bars and clubs are still busy. Went in September and although it was not too manic, there were enough people there to give a good party atmosphere in the evenings. Thanks
Hi, in 1991 as a student I finished my degree dissertation in Ufa, Baskortostan. I was there for six weeks to make a business plan for an sowjet institute which wanted to sell sparkplugs in western Europe. It was agreat time there. We worked, lived "Russian life" made trips to the countryside and got many many inpressions. (you find pictures in my travelogue). When we (3 students and I) were in Ufa we became friends to our translators. My translator was a young woman called Elvira. Also we had a driver and great organiser Rachim Garifullin. Our dissertations were a project together with the Management Acadamy of Baskortostan. I don't know if it is still existing. Are here VT's from Ufa who can help me to get in contact ?Over the years I lost all adresses and we hadn't email at that time...
