Can anyone help? I am flying into Rennes Airport and then getting the train from Rennes train station to Brest,How far is the airport to the train station? Is there a sevice from the airport which will take you the train station?
Hi ;-) Very bad idea. Rennes St Jacques is quite far, doubt that there is a public transportation, and a taxi will cost you more that the train to Brest. Max ;-)

Bus 57 Bus stops 300 meters from airport, to Central Republic station in 20 minutes, from there walk 20 mn to the train station. Or another bus. 1,2 euros ; one bus every 20 mn or 30 mn. Max ;-)

I took a taxi from the train station in Rennes to the airport four years ago and it was about 10Euro and took less then 15 minutes.

I think it is more than 10 euros. Extra charge for luggage >5 kg. Max ;-)

Rennes train station I pass and change there every week for my job. The trip to Brest is nice;even if not the train fan myself,job obliged. From the airport Rennes ,which is in the village of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande , you take bus 57 ,takes about 20 minutes, cost 1,20€ and goes to train station at place de la Republique in center of Rennes. You come out of airport and takes left on avenue Joseph Le Brix for about 300 meters, cross a small plaza and just in front is the bus stop call « Aire Libre Aéroport ». take the bus direction Rennes République ,and get off at stop call . The bus line works from mondays to saturdays every 20 minutes. Hope it helps,and welcome to Brittany ::) Cheers

Another option would be a commercial tour from Paris to Mont St. Michel. There are several in various price ranges.... more
