We are flying into Orly airport at 12.55pm and want to travel directly to Reims. What is the best way to do this?

    Hello,
You will have to go from the airport to "gare de l'est" and then take a train.
Pay attention, there is high speed train (TGV) going to Reims, some of them can stop in a station outside of the city(Champagnes-Ardennes TGV). There will be shuttle then, but might be worth to look at train which stop directly at the station 'Reims-gare'

To go from airport to Gare de l'est :ratp.info/orienter/cv/cartep... (go to Antony and take a RER B to Gare de l'est. On ratp site you can have schedule)
To go from gare de l'Est to Reims : http://www.voyages-sncf.com/

Here is an example below of some train. You can either book ticket from website, or book at the station. Might be better if you book before, but well, going out of a plane, plan to be able to change your ticket in case of you are late
    12h57 PARIS EST

    13h42 REIMS GARE
    TGV 2733

    Période normale
    Durée : 00h45

    13h57 PARIS EST

    14h37 > 14h47 via CHAMPAGNE ARDENNE TGV
    TGV 2777

    Période normale
    Durée : 00h58

    14h55 REIMS GARE
    TER 40519

    15h57 PARIS EST

    16h42 REIMS GARE
    TGV 2743

    Hope this help

    aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-G...

will give you info in English on all public transport into Paris from Orly.

    You can check Paris >Reims train times and details in English here;

    bahn.com/i/view/overseas/en/...

If you want to find fares as well, you will have to use the French railway website but do stay with the French language version (it's easy to work out):

    voyages-sncf.com/billet-trai...

If you choose the English language version you will be taken to the TGV/Raileurope site which does not always list all departures. Raileurope also charges commission on fares.

Paris Est > Reims takes from around 45 minutes on the faster trains. Trains are roughly hourly, some involving a change. One-way fare varies according to departure time from around 16 euro.
