Buses from Reims to Troyes

by dimittis Online Now Jun 21, 2005 at 1:24 PM

I will be travelling to Reims in two weeks and would like to make a daytrip to Troyes. I understand that one must travel back through Paris to get to Troyes by train, but is there a bus service between the two towns? I have been unable to find anything online about timetables and the like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Try the following web site. http://www.budgettravel.com/eurobus.htm

It has info on buses and cheap airlines. Scroll down to the France section and there is a lot of information. The train does go into Paris and back out to Troyes so it's a waste of time.

If all else fails, rent a car and drive down. You get on the A26 and go directly from Reims to Troyes. Hopefully, you can get a bus and leave the driving to them. Another alternative would be an inexpensive airline. That might be the fastest, cheapest way to go.

    Good luck.
