I will be on the Amalfi Coast the last week of May, staying in Vietri sul Mare, and want to spend a day in Ravello. I was in Ravello four years ago. It's probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, if not THE most beautiful. I didn't a lot of time to spend there, so didn't have the opportunity to see either. With the transportation involved, although I will have more time on this trip, if I can't see both, which would you recommend? And why? Any suggestions about this, and/or Ravello in general, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Rosemary
My husband and I will be in Ravello in October and are looking for a reasonably priced hotel. I understand that the options are limited, but of the "middle of the road" hotels, which has the best view? Nice accommodations? Close to Piazza Duomo? Any input would be helpful. We are not able to spend300-$500/night! Thank you.
I am taking a cruise in May which docks for one day in Naples. I want to travel to Ravello, but do not want a "private tour". I've seen something about Sita bus routes, but cannot seem to find fares or schedules from Naples to Ravello. Does anyone know the course of action I should take? Thanks!
Hello, Does anyone know the difference between Scarpariello Residence and Villa San Michele? My sense is that Scarpariello Residence is made up of apartments and Villa San Michele is part of Scarpariello, but is the place where you can rent only a room, and not necessarily a whole apartment. Any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Does anyone have information on Weddings in Ravello. I'm hoping to get married there in September 2006 or 2007 depending on my finances. Our wedding with have about 200 guest, what venues would be best for reception etc?
