Train from Casa Port to Rabat

Hi, we are visiting Morocco on a cruise ship and would like to go to Rabat on our own. Would anyone advise us not to do this? The train looks good. How far is everywhere to walk once we get off the train?

Thanks so much. It looks quite easy and much more interesting than doing a ship's tour. Also a lot cheaper.

The Day Retourn ticket from Casa to Rabat is about 70 Dirham in the 2nd class. They also may have air conditioning. Visiting Rabat is a good idea. Going there takes one hour.
