We will be arriving a couple of times to HCMC by air. Is a taxi a good way to get to our hotel in the center of the city, or does one have to fight their way through a gauntlet of shouting hucksters before finding a legitimate taxi? Or should I have my hotel arrange a shuttle?
We are 2 adults travelling to Laos and Vietnam on the 11th December 2014 till 8 January 2015. Can someone please help us out with:
1. An adequate itinerary.
2. Which country/city should we start of with and to end.
3. How many days to stay in which city and which country
4. Any Hotel recommendations and programme of what we must see and do
Thank you for your help
I met a british girl on a ship cruising Halong bay. we talked a lot I want to meet her again and I think so does she. but we do not have enough time exchange contact detail.
how to find her, pls help. thank you.
Hello everyone. I am a single male traveler who will divide my 4 days and 4 nights in Hanoi and Halong Bay.
I have read many posts of Hanoi and Halong Bay. Most people say they disliked Hanoi because it is very noisy and has annoying traffic. However, most reports say that 2 days and 1 night in Halong Bay is more than enough.
If you would have 4 days and 4 nights, how would you divide your visit?
A. Would you spend 1Day/2Night in Hanoi and 3Days/2Nights in Halong Bay? or
B. Would you stay 2Days/3Nights in Hanoi and 2Days/1Night in Halong Bay?
If you have experienced a Halong Bay cruise for 3Days/2night, Did the cruise sailed different places on the second day and night? Did the captain took a different route to show different landmarks?
My decision would be made on the responses I get from this forum. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
I'm looking at where to go for my Honeymoon at the end of December for a couple of weeks (could maybe push it to 16/18 days). So far the idea is fly to Bangkok and from there go to Vietnam and maybe Cambodia or Laos as well. We don't expect high standards from accommodation (just somewhere clean) but my husband to be loves all things rock/waterfall related so Ha Long Bay is a must. Should we just do Vietnam, the North of Vietnam then Laos or the South of Vietnam then Cambodia?
