Have been in SLP for the past few weeks, now driving down to Querétaro. Would love to hear some tips of what to see and do while I'm there and/or anything thing between the two cities. There is almost nothing posted on Virtual Tourist, and not much to be found on the search engines. Would also like to know about the traffic. When is rush hour and how bad is it? Thanks!
I loved Queretaro--It is a beautiful colonial city. Take the trolley tour, walk around in the plazas, visit the museums and churches. There are good restaurants, live music in some of the squares at night. I have a page on Queretaro and some tips--check it out. It is a big city and there is traffic. It seemed to be manageable in most areas(I wasn't driving)but pretty congested in the historic center.
