Are there more places to shop in Quepos than when we were ther in 02? Has the marina chaged very much?
I wasn't here in '02, but what kind of shopping are you refering to?

They are still finishing up the new marina. They've done a lot of work. Eventually they want to have new restaurants and store fronts, as part of the marina, but that will probably be in a a couple years. If shopping for souvenirs, Quepos probably has the same amount of shops when you were here. The best place to buy these though is at the beach in Manuel Antonio at the vendor stands. Less overhead so they can sell a little bit cheaper.
