complications with Colones, Costa Rican that is

Im planing a trip to CR very soon and was wondering how far my dollar will go when I exchange my currency. I am aware of the exchange rate, but am unfamiliar as to what a cup of coffe, dinner, or a night at the bar would run me in Costa Rican colones? Thanks for helping a virgin costa rica explorer!

    one Dollar is 473 colones, for example a coffee costs 300 colones or a meal in mc donalds cost about 2000 colones, some people can use different rates but don't move so far from 473 per dollar
