You have to be prepared for any kind of weather. It can still be very cold in the south, particularly at night and early morning. You definitely need an anorak, just something warm and weatherproof. Lake and fiord cruises can be very chilly.

If you walk on the glaciers the multi-layer approach is best, as you can get quite hot when walking - particularly on Franz Josef. On Fox you stand around a lot and the sun isn't on the glacier most of the day. But at both glaciers they would have anoraks for you and also pants, if you need. Jeans are totally unsuitable on the glaciers. You need fast drying pants, either just trekking pants or warm leggings. They also provide the boots.
