I want to book an apartment at Hotel The Point but I have been told that there are works around. Is that right ? thank you for your answer Tille in Belgium
I know those apartments - but building and road work sites can change permanently. When I was there last time there were no works of any kind. (Pity, my husband was in Queenstown this week and could have looked, had he known...) I would contact the hotel and ask. Even if there are works now they might be finished when you arrive. Frankton Road BTW is the main road, with trucks thundering past early in the morning, so not the most quiet location anyway. However, it is not as bad as in a real city - but not really quiet either.
