Dear travelers :)
Im visiting Leipzig on the 27th this month with my friend. We will be there from 6 in the morning till 4 in the afternoon.
Do you know of a nice place to eat breakfast and lunch? Something that we cant find in the usual guides. ... We want to get a glimpse of the new Leipzig..
Looking for a shop there in Garmisch-Partenkirchen that sells carved candles that has a "wooden" look to them and has the city's name carved into them please. Any help is appreciated! We are heading there this coming week (first full week in December).
College student travelling to Berlin from the 7th to 10th of December. Will be staying at the Lux 11, Berlin Mitte. Looking to hit the usual tourists spots and at the same time open to alternatives. If you're in town on the dates and want to explore Berlin together let me know :)
I found online that there is an orchestral concert at St. Peter's church on Dec. 29 and a Bach choir concert there on Dec. 31st. I cannot seem to find any information on tickets, so I'm wondering if perhaps these are free concerts? Does anyone know? Thank you! ~ Erin
0dessa tourism website says there is a no change service from there to Berlin, but it does not give schedule & times, just says the operator is Transglobal travel - but I cannot find company website - has anybody travelled from Berlin to 0dessa with them?
We are staying in Hildesheim for 4 days to visit the Christmas Markets of Hildesheim & Hanover. Can you suggest any other places for a short 'must see' visit please? We are using public transport. Thank you.

I was stationed in Germany while in the USAF. I was sent to the Stuttgart area and I believe I stayed in Esslingen. There was a tower on the hillside that had names and dates chiseled into the interior stone walls. You could look down from the outside walls into the center of the tower. I believe there was a Pentagram on the floor. Wanted to know more about the Tower if any one knows. Thanks
We have time up our sleeves and wanted to know if it is worth seeing, we will be travelling from Berlin by train and I gather you have to get two trains to reach Quedlinberg. We would stay at least 1 night, can you give us some info and where we get off train from Berlin, etc.
I am a VirtualTourist Virgin. We are traveling to Quedlinburg in October and are looking at the following hotels (in order of choice:)
Zur Goldenene Sonne
We are looking for old charm, and don't need anything fancy, but we do like a wonderful atmosphere. Any ideas about which one to choose through your experience or hear-say?
