Hi, Does anyone know if there is an airport shuttle bus that goes to downtown hotels. Thanks for any information. Losham
There only seems to be private shuttles that you can book but there is a regular bus to a suburb bus stetion where you can change to another bus. WWW.toandfromtheairport.com/quebec.html

I was last there a little over a year ago. There were private shuttles, which I recall you have to arrange beforehand, and infrequent regular bus service (maybe 4 or 5 times daily), which requires 1/2-1km walking to get to. Unless they've improved transportation since then, you should assume you'll need to take a taxi. There's supposed to be a fixed rate for taxis into the town center.

I spent hours looking into this before I went to Quebec City, and there was virtually no way around taking a taxi, it seemed. The public bus runs very infrequently and takes a very long time to get from the city to the airport. As I recall, I would have had to leave at around 6am and stay at the airport for roughly 4 hours. Although it's a wonderful airport. Private shuttles may be an option though. I ended up actually renting a car (from Budget) in the city, spending the day in the Laurentians and on to Isle d'Orleans, then driving it to the airport to be dropped off. Without insurance (and fuel), it cost just a little bit more than a taxi, and I had a fantastic day.

Thanks to all for your response. I guess the easiest/quickest way is to get downtown is a taxi. But if we did decide to take a private shuttle do we have to arrange it online before we leave home? Losham
