We are staying at the Chateau Frontenac for NYE, there are 5 of us, including two 50 year olds and three 25 year olds. Any ideas where to go? Any restaurants offering entertainment close by. The hotel has 2 parties but neither appeal to us.
Hi! Last year there was a huge party on Grande Allée, but I'm not sure if they're doing it again this year - at least, I haven't heard anything about it yet. It looks like there's gonna be a blues show at Pub Saint-Alexandre (http://www.pubstalexandre.com) and there usually is live Irish music at Pub Saint-Patrick - both are located within walking distance from the Chateau. Many restaurants in the area also offer a special New Year's Eve menu even if they don't offer entertainment. If you'd like, you could send me an e-mail in a week or two and I should be able to give you more info at that point. Hope you enjoy your trip to Quebec City!
