I would like to use the metro to get from the airport to the Le Meridian hotel but late at night ,,,is this possible?
There is no metro from the airport into Cairo! Perhaps in the future but not just now.

Line 3 is under construction. It will take years to be ready. No metro at the airport, sorry.

So bus service 939?...this goes from the airport to the Giza area....is there a specific timetable or does it just leave when it is full(ish)?

Im downhearted but I am just going to go ahead and prebook a taxi on the net.....seems like the best option

You can go out of the airport and take a metered taxi--no need to pre-book

No not possible because there is no metro line from the airport to the meridian hotel and also the last metro train take off at 00:30 am the only way is to take a taxi.
