i'm wondering how long odes it take from Pyramids of Giza to Saqqara? can anyone visit both sites in one same day?? and how to get to Saqqara from Giza pyramids?? thanks in advance, Neri
yeah u can visit Pyramids, Sakkara and Mmephis in just one day cuz they r so close to each other, about 30 min. by car.. u should decide what u wanna visit 1st.. anyway u can go to both from Giza square, and to go from pyramid to sakarra and vice versa u will take a microbus to AL MARYOTYA and then u'll take another microbus to pyramid or sakkara.. the road to skarra has many nice ancient monument like memphis, sphinx..etc and u can take ur lunch in nice resturants there too, most famouse one called El Ezba

Yes, they're close. The most fun way to get from one to the other is to ride: there are stables in Giza which will happily organise this.

i know i was just kidding..i think there is no camel would stand 5 persons on him to walk from Giza to Saqqara... i'd take a car..easier and more comfortable.. have nice day

The easiest way is by car. It is only around 30 mins between them. You can hire a driver in a a/c car to drive you anywhere you like for 4-6 hrs for around 170 egyptian pounds. Its the way to go. Regards Pat.
