Is it possible to visit that Park from punta arenas (back and forth) in about 8 hours? I was told this park is a must see. What can I see there?
It is 410 km one way from Punta Arenas, so you can calculate yourself how impossible this is... The 240 km from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales already take about 4.5 hours one way. You would need another one to seven days in the National Park to enjoy the scenery, go hiking, etc. What you can see? Fantastic landscapes and red rock formations, and the famous "torres" = towers pointing like fingers into the sky. One of Chile's biggest marketing success stories.
