what is the best way to get to or from buenos aires, primarily in terms of time and cost? thank you

As far as I know there are no direct flights between these two airports. So you have ta make your choice between: - Bs As - Santiago - Punta Arenas - Bs As - Ushuaia - Punta Arenas I don't know what you want to do/see in Punta Arenas, but if it is to visit Torres del Paine you also could consider flying Bs As to El Calafate and by bus (6 hours) to Puerto Natales. On my 'Argentina page - transportation tips) you can read some remarks about LAN and the South America Pass of this company; could be very interesting !!
