Magdelena Island tour

Does anyone know if there are any day tours to Magdelena Island that get back before dark? I have only found some day trips but all seem to leave in the afternoon or dont get back until late at night. help! Also- any suggestions on where to stay in Puntas Arenas for 2 budget travelers is much appreciated. Thanks!
