Staying at Berjaya Resort

HI, i'm planning to visit Berjaya Resort in late Aug this year. Have seen from other posts that Berjaya is far away from the main beach. I'll be staying for 2 nights so wondering what else I can do other than visit the Marine Park and relaxing at the beach. Is there any nearby places that i could visit or I should stay at Laguna instead? Thanks!

    Snorkeling, Diving and Jungle Trail from Berjaya to Pasir Panjang and Redang Kelong.
