Is it possible to go to Pulau Perhentian Besar at beg of Dec. How many hours rainfall? If not possible is there any other beautiful unspoilt off the beaten track place in Malaysia (we're coming from KL)

It is not recommended to visit Perhentian in Dec. How many hours of rainfall? It could be the whole day. Is there any other beautiful, unspoilt off the beaten path in Malaysia? Try Bukit Fraser.
