Intending to visit Bintan (will be staying at Nirvana Beach Club). Where can I get cheap alcohol where I can drink with my friends back in the comfort of our own rooms? Is the alcohol in the bar cheap?
The alcohol at the bar inside the resort is not cheap. Since you are staying in Nirwana, you may wanna try Warung Bebek, which is just a short distance once you enter the security gate of the Nirwana Garden premise. Alternatively, if you are going to Pasar Oleh Oleh, try the provision shop there. A better choice will be the shops near the Pujas Sera food centre as the price there are for locals and are way way cheaper.
