I know the ferry for Jakarta sails wed only, does anyone know when other ferrys leave to and on what days. I am having no success with the ferry company's web page. Thanks a lot. John

Hi! Me and my wife are going to Batam this 25Feb for the 1st time. As part of a package, once we arrived at Batam, there will be a whole day tour to various places including a lunch at Golden Prawn Seafood. I think the tour will be completed around 6pm. Then we will be sent to Harmoni One hotel or checkin and 1hour massage. Considering our hotel's location: 1. Is there any good and reasonably priced seafood restaurant nearby? How much is the taxi fare? 2. Do we have enough time to go around Nagoya area for shopping, dining and maybe another massage te following day if we get the latest ferry back to Singapore? Or should we extend our stay for 1more night? 3. How much is the taxi fare from Harmoni One to Nagoya area? From Nagoya to Batam Centre Ferry? 4. Is Megamall worth visiting compared to Nagoya Area? Basically we just want to have relaxing massages, eat seafoods and shop a bit during our stay in Batam but we are just afraid that the tour will eat up most of our time there. Just looking for some advice. Thank you!

I don't arrive in Singapore until the Thursday, are there other ferrys to Jakarta from batam that go via different islands to save me waiting nearly a week. Hi! My family and I are going to Batam next Saturday. From morning till 1 or 2 pm, after arrival from ferry, we want to go shopping at Nagoya Hills Shopping Mall. Then hire a taxi to drive over to Turi Beach Resort, where we will lounge around a bit (using their Daytour Package). Then we take the last ferry trip back to Singapore via Nongsapura Ferry Terminal which is near Turi Beach). Is this possible? Thank you.

i want to go to Batam, indonesia via singapore by using free. My problem is to find a hotel that is very near to the shopping centre. Another question, which ferry terminal should of choose if i stay the one that you all reommended.

i believe a new mall KEPRI MALL has opened up in Batam. Can any member please advise how far this mall is from Pacific Palace hotel. What are the special features of this mall. We normally shop at the BCS mall. Hi Guys, How much for taxi fee for whole day services, The taxi driver charge me bout100 dollar from Turi Beach Resort to Town area? Is it expensive? BTW, I will bring my parent to there on 30 Sep. Just dun want to disappointed them.

We are going to Batam in may for 4 days and three nights. No accomadation booked yet. Can anyone advise about where the best beaches are for snorkelling and paradise. Our friends arrive in different groups, so we need some help here. 1) are there any budget hotels($40 range) within walking distance from ferry terminal, batam centre? 2) if there isn't, how much is the taxi fare? 3) We wish to play paintball, where can we find it? 4) thinking of doing some island hopping. where is a nice beach? If this hotel is fully booked, which 3-star hotel is the next best choice nearest the city. Also, how much do we have to pay the taxi/bus fare from the termninal to Nagoya city? Thanks.

i'm planning to visit batam on my own i was thinking of renting an "ojek" or motor taxi i was wondering if 206,399.72 rupiah would be enough i want to visit the following places. Barelang Bridges, Vihara Buddhi Bakti Temple, Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Buddhist temple & the mega mall considering the motor taxi wwill have to wait for me I want to know if my budget is fair enough for the motor taxi. lets just say I want to rent an ojek for a day tour please suggest fare prices for the trip I'm planning so I can have a better idea thanks

hi, going to harris resort this comming week, travelling with family.upon departure would like to drop at nogaya mall shopping before heading back to singapore. is there a place to keep our luggages while while doing our shopping? as we didnt want to return to resort to collect it. it save travelling time, if we could depart batam from harbourbay terminal.is it a good idea?anyone can advice on this. thks

I plan to go to Batam, most likely alone. I need advice on hotels that area within safe walking distance to entertainment outlets. If possible I prefer to avoid using taxi to go around. I heard about Harmoni, Mandarin and Nagoya Plaza. Which one is most recommended in terms of value for money and distance? Any other hotels? Thanks

I got a few questions; i) How to get to Batam from JB? I'm organising a trip to Batam on the 3rd of Dec and coming back on the 4th of Dec. The trip is for 45 pax. Any discount for ferry for large group? ii) Any cheap and clean accommodation for a group? iii) On the 4th of Dec, we're going to Batam City Council. How far is the office from accommodation? iv) We are planning to have one seafood dinner and one nasi padang lunch for the group. Of course in a halal restaurant. Any suggestion place?
