Hi! I'm travelling to Pula in 2 weeks. My boyfriend has been working there for 2 months and now I'm going to visit him. That same weekend, we are celebrating our anniversary and I would like to surprise him. But since I have never been to Pula before, I have no idea what the possibilites are. Does anybody have some suggestions for a nice restaurant (maybe with a great sea-view) or a romantic activity (like a spa and wellness or a boat rental service with a glass of champagne,...) Hello, We are a group of 4 adults and 2 children from Portugal who wish to travel from Venice, Italy to Pula, Croatia on the 1st of June 2013 by ferry. We will not be crossing with a vehicle. Does anyone know what Ferry companies operate this route? What is the price for a one-way ticket? What is the duration of the trip? Thank you, Michael

I want to receive a pack from UK while i'm there, somewhere at a mail office in the City and then to pick it up with my ID, because I don't have a stable address. What would be the address of a post office which is close to the bus station where Brioni Pula company operates, so then I can go to get my pack. Thank you

hi i am arriving in pula on aug 21 for one night. please recommend a decent hotel or apartment to saty at my budget is 100-120 euros. also i am leaving the next day for mali losing and they say there is a 7 am boat on wednesday. how far is the ferry from the center or from all the hotels. please also recommend a really nice restaurant to eat in as i am a chef and have heard alot about the truffles, white asparagus and wine that pula has to offer.

hi! this sunday i want to visit the brijuni islands. i've read that there are trips from Fazana, but they seem just visits of things in groups and on a train... i'd rather prefer to be on my own, swimming and wandering around... or..is there a trip with swimming stops around there?

Hello, We are wanting to travel on buses from Pula to Rovinj ans Fazana on a day trips and then Pula to Trieste when on our way to Venice. We are staying in an apartment near the Arena and want to know exactly where the bus station is to the above places. Can we walk from the Arena to the bus station?

Can anyone recommend nice cities, villages, landscapes along the coastline from Trieste to Pula that I should not miss when travelling there in September? Hi! We are looking to visit Pula and attend the Outlook Music Festival held at Fort Punta Christo in September. We are hoping to stay in Pula a bit longer than just the festival, and would like to stay in accommodations other than those offered by the festival. Does anyone know of a moped rental service in town so that we can get to/from the festival with ease? Or, if riding a pedal bike from town would be a torturous venture out to where the festival is held? Any help is appreciated!

Can anyone recommend a cost-efficient rent-a-car service in Pula? I will be staying there for 9 days in August and would like to rent a car for two, to enable driving around the region. I've looked into places on the internet and it seems that the average cost is 40 euros a day, for car rentals. Has anyone rented a car in Pula before and can offer any tips or advice? I am traveling in April. I cannot find any bus going from Zagreb to Pula. I've tried the autotrans website as well as Croatia bus. Does this mean they are not running at this time of year?

Hi in a couple of week sI am taking my family with three kids to Pula to see a freind and then we have arranged to get a car down to Split in a day in order to get on a boat and do some islands. Does anyone know the best and cheapest way of going back from Split (or possibly Zadar) to Pula bearing in mind we have three kids with us aged 10,11 and 15. The car hire is much more expensive going up and I've already booked it coming down! We have two days to get there, leaving either on a Sunday pm or travelling on the Monday. I believe there might be a ferry but does anyone know what kind of cost is involved? Thanks

I am organizing a trip for a group of people from Russia next summer. I want to know if it possible to travel to Venice for the day for Russian citizens if they do not have a Visa to Italy. Does anyone have information about organised day trip excusions from Pula? A trip to Venice seems possible, but I would also like info about a day in Trieste, cruise around the islands or to one of the national parks. I appreciate that there is only so much that can be done on a day trip and I can see little point in spending hours on a tour bus and only a little time at a destination. Dear all Could anyone help me with following question: akz.hr shows that there is a bus from Pula to Belgrade every day operated by Lasta, but the Lasta website says there is only a busconnection on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Who know what is correct? Otherwise will the best alternative be via Zagreb? Thanks & best regards. Ira

We will be on a cruise in May stopping in Pula for the day (May 13). Our ship will anchor and we will come into the port by tender. How far is it to the Bus Station to get a bus to Rovinj? Is it walking distance? How often do Buses go between Pula & Rovinj and what is the approximate fare?
