by Burkynafaso Online Now Mar 15, 2008 at 7:51 AM

hey my fellow travellers,

i have one question for you. I was in Puerto Viejo (Limon area) in september and one local guy told me there was some movie made down in Puerto Viejo (or maybe close area). I was trying to find out the name of the movie but haven't managed to. Does anybody know the name of the movie? I would really like to watch it and remember this awesome place on the earth.
thanx a lot

Several movies have been filmed in Puerto Vallarta. Maybe the two best known are Night of the Iguana and Predator.

Hey, my cousin Stephen did a pilot that aired on the Travel channel called Edible Adventures. It started at his farm just south of Manzanillo and traveled up the Caribe coast, and then in to different regions of the country. You may find it on You Tube. Hope this helps!

The name of the movie is "The Blue Butterfly" (as in Costa Rica's famous "Blue Morpho")starring William Hurt & can be bought through elpuente-thebridge.org/store.... All purchases through this site help fund volunteer efforts around Puerto Viejo & Bri Bri. They also have another video on this site called "Hidden People". I have not seen either but do plan to purchase both on our next trip.
