Place to Rent on the Beach?

by 2_Canadians Online Now Sep 21, 2006 at 8:11 PM

Hello, I am looking to rent a home/cabin/cottage on or close to the beach was hoping someone here would know of a way to do this as the internet has limited options. I need a place to rent that is relaxing and "out of the way". I would like to rent it from mid OCT to mid DEC. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Holly

In Puerto Viejo check out http://www.puertoviejobeachhouse.com/ Collin is the owner and he is a super cool guy (also a Canadian) If his place isn't available send him an email as he also manages a few other beach house rentals in the area.

Considering the time of year you might want to look up north in the Guanacaste area. Nov-Jan are really rainy on the Caribbean coast where Sean is suggesting. The follow link will put you on a board where there are a lot of people who live in CR at least part time. Many own homes and condos that they rent out. they have a general discussion area and a commercial area for listing homes for sale or rent. punkhart.net/CostaRica/index... VRBO also has listings.
