can I get to the westin hotel by bus

I'm the maid of honour for a wedding in November in PV. We are all staying at the Now Amber. The bride would like to have a spa afternoon with about 10 girlfriends the day before the wedding.
Does anyone have suggestions for me for a nice spa? Or any other nice things to do?
Appreciate any info. I know lots of people marry in Puerta Vallarta so I am hoping that someone else has done something similar?

We have a place to stay for 2 weeks in Manzanillo, and then plan to take a bus trip to Puerto Vallarta and stay there for a week before we fly out of PV. We have been to both cities and are looking for some advice for our last week road trip to PV. Is there an interesting inexpensive place to stay a night or two between the cities? We love to snorkel, have our own gear, like casual safe environment with locals, speak very little Spanish. How is the bus travel? Will they let us off in between? Any info about a clothing optional beach on the way. Our trip is planned for Feb 20 to March 13, 2013.

I wish to fly to Puerto Vallarta and take a bus to Cuyutlan, Colima. Is there a bus to Manzanillo (with stops in Cuyutlan) that leaves directly from the PV airport? Does it have frequent or infrequent departures? If the bus only leaves in the AM, is there a hotel right by the PV airport where I could stay for a night, taking a bus to Cuyutlan the next morning? Hi, we are coming down to the PV area for 3 months in January and will be brnging our dog. We brought him last year and thought we had all the necessary paperwork ,etc. but then got told we didn't and it cost around80.00 for a vet certification at the airport. Do we have to see a specal vet to get the right papers. Our vet just wrote a letter saying he was free of all fleas, ticks, etc and that all his shots were up to date. Just don't want the same hassle this year. Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks

Hi. I am considering moving to PV for work.... I play professional online poker and am unable to do that in the US. Is it easy for an american to get a bank account set up there without having trouble? Also. What percentage of people there would speak well enough english that I could understand? I would be living in a nice condo in the bayview grand so I wouldnt be leaving there often. Would I have to worry about crime at the bay view grand? Also women my age(21-24) do most people broken english are decent english? Please let me know

We have reservation at a Grand Mayan resort in Puerto Vallarta in 3 weeks. I know thw us govt has issued a travelers warning.....is it safe to go?

Is anyone interested in carpooling/ridesharing to Mexico. I will be traveling by car to the beach village of Arroyo Seco, Jalisco. This location is just north of Manzanillo, Colima Mexico and south of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco Mexico (Just North of Barra Navidad on Pacific Coast). I am going down for a surf competition on January 6th returning on January 16th of 2012. There is currently 1 other male individual going down in my vehicle, and I am open to anyone who might be looking to buddy up and travel with us. We will be splitting gas and tolls. I spent years living in Sinaloa, Mexico and speak Spanish fluently. I have also made this trip many times by car. I can drop off and pick up anywhere along the route, you are also welcome to make the entire journey and attend the Arroyo Seco Pro '12 surf competition. Just wondered how many kilometers (or miles) it is to walk from Krystal Hotel to El Centro. We always take a few walks from Krystal to the Zona Romantica area.

We have tickets on Spirit which flies into Toluca, Mexico and would like to use them to see a nephew get married in Puerto Vallarta in April. Is it safe to drive from Toluca to Puerto Vallarta? We were thinking of stopping off on the way, are there some interesting and safe places along the way? Who rents reliable cars in Toluca?

We are looking at travelling to Mexico in January 2012 with our 2 young adult children. We are torn between Playa Del Carmen (blue waters) and Puerto Vallarta (whale watching and fishing). Unfortunately, I see that Jalisco PV has travel warnings? Numerous deaths and corrupt police instances? I have also been told that there have been some tourist hijacks between cancun airport and playa? We really want our kids to experience the beauty and different cultures Mexico offers, however, fear the safety of it? I would be very interested in any links or information about the safety of the travel.

I am planning a trip to Paradise Village in September. I believe this resort is safe but one has to get there from the airport and then travel outside the gates for groceries, etc. I read that one needs to be sure the taxi you are riding in is legit. I recently saw the photos of the dead (skinned men)in Tepic (an hour from NV) and was mortified. I know the killings were drug related but the violence seems to be extraordinarily brutal and may, in the future, know no boundaries. Also, I am buying a condo on El Tigre Golf Course (Sensara) and I am concerned about the long term safety. In addition I believe the developer is out of money. Does anyone know the status? I am considering cancelling my contract with them and travel to Nuevo Vallarta Paradise Village using my points for all future travel.

A couple friends and my husband and I are traveling to PV this coming June and a lot of folks are telling us NOT to go because violence is increasing, and apparently violence against tourist is increasing. So...is it safe to travel to PV this coming June? Should we postpone our trip? Do any local folks have recommendations? We (and family members) need peace of mind. Thank you!

I will be flying to PVR on 5 May for the celebration of my nephew's wedding to a delightful Mexican dentist at 6 PM on Saturday evening. I will be staying at the Sheraton Bouganvilias and have been advised that dinner at the Panorama Restaurant is something that I should do, for the view as much as for the food. Any recommendations for Saturday day, anytime Sunday, or early Monday activities would be most gratefully appreciated.

Hello, Going to Puerto Vallarta for a wedding at the Dreams all inclusive resort; the hotel is sold out for the first night of my arrival thus need to book one night else where. Can anyone advise what are some hotels that are nearby the Dreams resort? I'm only staying for one night thus prefer a small hotel as close as possible to Dreams. Thanks!!!!

Would like to stay by the playa los muertos (where the gay beach is). Looking for something higher class and right on the beach. Any help would be great. I've looked in the travel guides but I can't specify which area in the city. Thank you!

Considering all of the drug and gang violence in Mexico, is Puert Vallarta a safe place to bring your family. Also,is it safe to venture out of the resort into town in the day time or evening? Are there any local tours that are safe for tourists? We know our resort is safe but we really want to be able to venture out and enjoy Puerta Vallarta, please give me your honest assessment.
