I'm going to PV May 13-21 with a friend, and Playa Los Arcos is an option, but I stayed there in 1990 and recalled it was a very small room, but close to town and all the night life and beach. I'm looking also at the LaSiesta up on the hill, reasonably priced. Is this typically the off season tourist season for PV? Thanks for any and all comments, Patty

My hubby & I stayed at the Tropicana last month & loved it. It's in the perfect part of town & was cheap too. We got a superior room which was around90ish a night. It's right on Los Muertos which was fun. Plus it's within walking distance of all the great restaurants.
