Any one has done the carretera austral from Port Montt to Chile Chico? How long can it take? Is it easy to rent a car in Port Montt and leave it at the end? How much can it cost? Any suggestions? Many thanks,

suggestion: bus from Chile Chico to Coyaique and from there another to Puerto Chacabuco; from Puerto Chacabuco take the ferry to Puerto Montt
