RESIDENCIAL LA NAVE (phone (65)253740) , on the corner of Antonio Varas and Ancud charged 6000 (US$ 10) off-season per person; half a block upstreet along Ancud st., is an unnamed restaurant and lodging with excellent rooms with shared -albeit spotless- bathrooms at 10.000 (US$ 17) a carpeted double with heating, a large bed and window. In this latter one, you're allowed to use the hotel's kitchen and pottery to prepare your meals, free of charge. Both accomodations are very handy for the bus terminal (2 blocks) and Las Brisas supermarket (for grocery buying, 1 block away). Daniel
