Macuco safari tour for my mother in Iguazu, Brazil

by sripod Online Now Dec 22, 2010 at 2:25 PM

Hi, I am currently visiting Brazil with my 65 year old mother. She can walk alright, but she cannot do heavy activities (has high BP). We did Devil´s throat and Upper circuit in Argentina. Is Macuco safari tour on the Brazil side rough? Is it a very high speed boat or is it just like a normal boat? Is it bumpy? I really appreciate any advise. Thanks very much.

The water can be a little bit rough, you're going very close to falls, it's a normal boat as the do not need high speed, for sure you'll get wet, bring a water proof bag for your camera, they have one given to you but it's very similar at one of supermarket.
The main concern for your mother could be high humidity and hot and this everywhere at Iguazu, a little bit more going to river thru the forest, when I did it there were old trucks for this transfer, nowdays it should be something more confortable.
