I will arrive around 6:50pm at Brazil Iguassu Falls airport. Is it possble to travel to the Argentine side by public transportation? Thanks.
No doubt someone will answer your question with more precision than I can at the moment, but as I recall you can catch a local city bus along the main avenue that runs north-south in Foz do Iguacu. This bus will take you to the Brasil - Argentina border crossing, and then onward to the small Argentine bus hub in Puerto Iguazu where it turns around to head back to Foz. The Argentine side of the falls is superlative for hiking around the falls on good trails. You can hike down to the river and make a crossing in a small boat and hike around on a small island surrounded by the river and the gigantic falls. Just a fantastic natural wonder.
