Visiting the falls in winter.

How cold is it in July? Is it possible to see the falls in 1 day or do I have to stay over night? My home base is Buenos Aires. Where should I stay?

It is possible to do the falls in a day, but it would be a shame not to visit both sides of the falls. Ideally at least 2 days for the area is good. 1 day for the Argentine side and 1 day for the Brazilian side. Each country has its own feel and it is definately not overkill to see both. Some other things to see in the area is Itaipu dam (the worlds largest) The meetiing points of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and a bird park near the turn off to the falls on the Brazil side. \ You can check out my pages or email me for more info
