Hi, i'm a 21 years old student, going to Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca for Christmas. Got any tips on the nightlife? any cool spot?
i was there last year and you will find a few good spots there. the best thing is just to listen to the grapevine. there is always something happening. both in town and out on the beaches.

Great choice - loved both PE and Oaxaca. Better bet for PE is SEast beyond the 'Municipal' beach - while not overdeveloped, certainly more things happening in terms of 'vacation' style entertainment -:) Oaxaca is a bit less obvious, but there are lots of bars where younger people hang our round the monastery/museum - lots of live music in the bars in the back streets (case of following your ears). But for the occasional treat, La Novicia bar in the Carmino Real Hotel is well worth it - best margaritas in town and fanstastic spot in the inner courtyard round the pool. Enjoy - we ceratinly did.
