There are some beautiful resorts in the area but the town itself is not recomended the best thing to do if you are staying at a resort in San Pedro is to visit Altos de Chavon,a beautiful artist village or Casa de Campo Resort (about 25 minutes) or go to the city of Santo Doming which is approximately 1Hr 20 min away
