Hi there. My husband, kids and I are thinking of booking at the Turquesa. Does anyone know whether you can snorkel right off the beach at this hotel? Are there places close by where you can snorkel? Is it very windy in this area? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thx!! Michelle

Hi I will be in guardalavaca in oct.we will be staying at brisas guardalavaca.whilst were there me and my husband would like to renew our wedding vows.If anybody has done this I would be very greatful if you could advise me on how to pre book a date with the hotel as my huband has emailed the hotel with no reply also we have tried telephoning reception only to be hung up on.please help.

Hi Planning a trip to Cuba in early January... We're avid mtn bikers; hard to find any info on this other than all inclusive tour packages. Any info would help, i.e. do I need to bring my bike or can you rent good quality bikes there and what kind of trails etc.? Anyone who has been there and has local contacts, would appreciate that contact and maybe could find out from locals...? thanks.

Hi, We're planning a trip, 1st of November, in Holguin. I know it might be raining this time of year, but should we expect little or a lot? And is it realistic to expect temperatures of 28 degres? (as per various websites) Also, what activities would you recommend ? (I've been in varadero before and really enjoyed the dolphin/catamaran one we have to purchase tickets ASAP... We are getting married in the Sol Luna next March in Guardalavaca. FirstChoice dont seem to be able to give us much detail about the wedding itself. Has anyone been married at this hotel or in Cuba. What is it like ? What should we expect? Is the ceromony inside or out ? What are the pictures like etc etc etc Any information would be appreciated cheers

First time to Cuba, travelled the caribbean a bit. What can we expect at x-mas time? Do they close the store etc for a few days? Staying in the hotel part of club amigo atlantico, have heard to update to a villa? We are a fam of 4 and somewhat adventurist, so don't plan on spending much time in our rooms anyway. As long as they are clean. What can we expect for typical weather during this time? HOw do we get from our hotel back to the Holguin area for a day of shopping? Bus, taxi, bike, car rental? Is it better to find our own way to the dolphin area and book it ourselves? so many questions...would appreciate any info Thx from Canada

This might sound a little odd but I am a runner and am planning on taking my running shoes on holiday for a little early morning easy running. I have never been to cuba and wondered whether it would be safe for a lone female to run off the complex or whether I will have to be content with running laps of the hotel where I am staying, The Blau Costa Verde? I'm in Holguin from 22 October to 1 November - could anyone tell me if there are any games, friendlies, charity games, warm-up games, junior games etc to watch during this time. I know the main league doesn't start until November but I was keen to watch something. Where do I find out about games (ideally in English) and how do I get tickets?
