The Government of Mozambique is making Pemba look like a paradise through their advertisements, yet it is not very popular, Why ? 1. Is it because,airline connections are poor? 2. Is personal safety the issue? 3. The facilities are not adequate? 4. Is it the language barrier ? 5. Or any other reason ? Tryguru

I am planning to head south from Tanzania into Mozambique by the Mtwara border crossing in June. Is there a regular ferry across the river at that point? I've heard you have to wade across! Is it deep, dangerous? How are the roads in Cabo Delgado (and southernb Tanzania) at that time of year? Passable, possible, impossible? And the local transport? Any advice, suggestions most welcome. Maiby somebody knows something about northern province of Mozambique Cabo delgado. Im going here in march and im going to spend six month in it, os maiby somebody have some information about Cabo Delgado :)
